About Dr. Erick Cervantes 

Naturopathic Doctor

Dr. Cervantes is a Naturopathic Doctor who received his medical training at the National College of Natural Medicine (NCNM), in Portland, Oregon, Class 2011. During his clinical tenure at NCNM he was mentored by Dr. Dick Thom, ND, DC. During his mentorship he became knowledgeable of the German medical system of biotherapeutic drainage therapies (known as UNDA numbers), tissue cell salts, and the use of herbal stem cell therapies to treat acute and chronic disease. Dr. Cervantes’ clinical internship experiences also include HIV/AIDS, community clinics, and pediatrics. 

Dr. Cervantes began practicing naturopathic medicine post licensing examination in September of 2011. Prior to him receiving his license to practice, he was asked to lead as the program chair of Complementary and Alternative Health undergraduate program at Ashford University in San Diego, California. He has taught within and led the Complementary and Alternative Health program since 2011 (ended in 2019). His tenure at Ashford University resulted in a refinement of his clinical skill, focus on evidence based practice, and expansion of clinical modalities. 

Dr. Erick Cervantes joined the practitioners at Body Craft in 2019. At Body Craft, his colleague and mentor, Ryu Kawajiri, expanded his knowledge of Energy Medicine, by utilizing advanced medical instruments such as the Acuscope and Myopulse. These instruments use energy, frequencies (alpha and beta wave), for therapeutic and as adjunct therapy for all manner of acute and chronic disease. Moreover, as a practitioner of Body Craft he also has initiated rehabilitation training from well established rehabilitation schools such as The “Prague School” of Rehabilitation and Manual Medicine that teaches Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization, Z-Health, and Postural Rehabilitation Institute. As such, he brings to the therapeutic relationship an array of successful treatment interventions that also include Western herbs, homeopathy, massage, behavioral modification, nutrition, and electrotherapy.
